Mirendil is a frontier AI lab that trains models built for AI research and development, aiming to automate the research loop of a lab and make frontier AI R&D available to teams in science and engineering. Its founding team of 20 came from Anthropic, xAI, Google DeepMind and OpenAI. It announced itself in June 2026 and released its first model, Fern, in October 2026.
