Maker agreement
The short version
- Listing a product on the map is free.
- 60% of plan revenue goes to makers, paid per pick.
- Rankings are never for sale; sponsored slots are always labelled.
1. Listing your product
Submitting a product is free. A person reviews it, usually within 2 working days, and then it goes live in the community layer. It is added to the map after the four stops on How we curate.
2. Claiming a listing
If your product is already on the map, claim it to manage it from Studio. We check that you control its website with a DNS record, an email address on its domain or a meta tag.
3. Verified
We check who makes the product, the team, its data policy, that it works and that its pricing is clear. We check again every 90 days.
4. Payouts and tax
Payouts are made monthly through Stripe Connect. We need a valid tax form before we can pay you, and we hold payouts until it is in. You are responsible for reporting and paying tax on what you receive.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of your product's name, logo, screenshots and text. You give us a licence to show them on the site, and you confirm they are yours to share.
6. Leaving or removal
We can remove a listing that breaks these terms, misleads people or stops working. If we do, we tell the team that manages it why, and they can ask for a review.
