What it does

Hibiki is Kyutai's model for simultaneous speech translation: it translates speech as it is spoken and outputs speech in the speaker's voice. The original release translates French to English; Hibiki-Zero (February 2026) adds Spanish, Portuguese and German to English without aligned training data. Code and weights are on GitHub and Hugging Face.
