What it does

Laguna is Poolside's family of mixture-of-experts models for agentic coding. Laguna S 2.1 has 118B parameters (8B active) and a 1M context; Laguna XS 2.1 has 33B (3B active) and can run on a laptop. Weights are on Hugging Face under OpenMDW-1.1 (earlier XS.2 and M.1 under Apache 2.0), with an OpenAI-compatible Poolside API.
