What it does

Unmute is an open-source system from Kyutai that puts its streaming speech-to-text and text-to-speech models around any text LLM, so you can talk with the model and hear it reply with low latency. It works with any OpenAI-compatible LLM server, is MIT-licensed on GitHub, and has a public web demo at unmute.sh.
