What it does

Zamba2 is Zyphra's earlier family of small language models that combine Mamba2 state-space blocks with shared transformer attention blocks for lower memory use and faster inference. Base and instruct versions come in 1.2B, 2.7B and 7B sizes, with vision variants added in 2026. Weights are on Hugging Face under Apache 2.0 and run with Hugging Face Transformers.
