What it does

DataHub is an open-source (Apache-2.0) metadata platform and data catalog that maps an organisation's data and AI assets. It provides search and discovery, lineage from pipelines to dashboards and prompts, data quality checks, governance and data contracts, and serves this context to AI agents through MCP. DataHub Cloud is the commercial hosted version from Acryl Data.
