What it does

Vertex AI, Google Cloud's AI platform now sold as Gemini platform, is used to build, deploy and govern AI agents and models. Its Model Garden offers Google's Gemini models, third-party models such as Anthropic's Claude and open models like Gemma, with tools to tune, evaluate, train and serve them. Developers work through the Google Cloud console, APIs and SDKs such as the Agent Development Kit.
