What it does

OpenSearch is an open-source (Apache-2.0) search and analytics suite, forked from the last Apache-licensed versions of Elasticsearch and Kibana and governed by the OpenSearch Software Foundation under the Linux Foundation. It provides full-text, vector and hybrid search, log analytics and observability, with OpenSearch Dashboards for visualisation, and runs self-managed or through cloud services.
