What it does

Tinker is a training service from Thinking Machines Lab. You write the training loop in Python, and Tinker runs it on its GPU clusters using calls such as forward_backward and optim_step, for LoRA and RL on open-weight models from 4B to 1T parameters. Billing is per token. It has been generally available since December 2025.
