What it does

Apache Flink is an open-source (Apache-2.0) engine for stateful computation over unbounded streams and bounded batch data. It offers SQL, the DataStream API and lower-level process functions, with exactly-once state consistency, event-time processing and checkpoints for very large state, and is used for event-driven apps, real-time analytics and ETL. Flink Agents and Flink CDC extend it.
